wow you have some really haunting photographs on (have actually been staring at one for the past 10 minues before I realised my toast was burning - thank goodness for smoke detectors) absolutely stunning. That is such a kind message; i really appreciate it. I usually used curtain lining as I an nothing if not economical with money - but I have been requesting fabric samples from all around America in the last year and it is quite different to over here - mostly they seem a lot thinner. I think I have a few swatches and the names and types of materials that would work with ink and not just keep it on the surface but I will bring them with me. It's width and length that I have ad the most difficulty finding (*childish laughter ensues*). You really did send a mentally kind message. Thank you so much. I look forward to meeting you all - and since seeing the work on this site I am looking forward to being inspired by all of you. Hope you are well. Jenn
All of your new photographs are really amazing! As a mass, the figures take on these great shapes inside the picture plane- like the one of nick where the mass of bodies looks like a cross. The photos have a nice rythmic motion that suggest the passing of time. As if the figures were moving around, but were static for a few moments in between each movement. It would be great to use some of these images in photo intaglio or some other print method. Very Nice! Amber
